This is a great antique Persian Serapi. These rugs are also known as an antique Heriz because they were woven in the city of Heriz before the transition to busier patterns and brighter colors. This rug has a very stately design with a characteristic navy medallion on a rust field with ivory spandrels and a rust Herati motif border. It is rare to find small Serapi rugs, this one being 4-7x6-7 It is circa 1900.

This is a double medallion Eagle Kazk with the spandrels at either end. The title ;Eagle Kazak is actually referring to rugs from the Chelebred village of the Karabagh region

Circa 1900, 3-1x4-4, This Caucasian Perpedil rug, originating from the Kuba region of the Caucasus, has a classic rams horn motif on a navy-blue field. The rams horn motif, often stylized in various geometric forms, is a symbol of strength. The main border is flanked by several smaller guard borders, each with its own set of geometric patterns.
